How can you doubt your own eyes? Yes, true, you must see with the deeper eyes, the ones that we can learn to use at times and in places where sight functions in ways other than what we usually expect. And finding those deeper eyes is a skill we must cultivate.
Yet when you relax into that way of seeing, of being, you find an abundance of unseen moments, moments when you were able to watch time and yourself long enough to pause and focus at the top of your in-taken breath, the invisible pause between in and out.
There is no right or wrong in that moment, no judgment of any sort - or even up, down, in, or out. It is all simply there. We appreciate it - or not - depending on what else occupies us at that moment.
What we know in this moment is that our abundant universe can toss out such gems to be treasured or ignored and no matter. If not this one, then another. There is so much! And our pleasure is our gratitude, our openness to exploration and wonder. How can we do otherwise?
